Mario Bonaccorso - Managing Partner
Mario founded SerendipEquity in 2014 together with two leading broker dealers in San Francisco, Tim Sullivan and Garrett Paul. SerendipEquity started up through the acquisition of 1OAK Private Equity Venture Capital from the 1OAK Financial Group, which Mario had co-founded in 2009 leading its growth and private equity business from a small start-up into a global multi-billion alternative asset management group.
Mario has extensive international corporate and turn-around experience across different industries, with senior operating roles for private equity funds and merchant banks.
He started his career in strategic marketing at the Champagne division of French luxury-goods leader LVMH.
Mario holds the CEMS Master’s degree from ESADE, Barcelona and a Master’s degree in Corporate Finance from SDA Bocconi.

Gabriel Robles-Velarde - Senior Partner, Americas - Chairman, Real Estate Development
Gabriel comes from a 40+ years background of resort development in the Americas, having been one of the original founding executives of FONATUR, the government of Mexico’s resort development arm, creator of Cancun, Ixtapa, Los Cabos and multiple other master planned communities. His expertise led to the creation and development of Cancun, the world’s first master-planned resort city, starting out with an initial population of 114 now above 1 million, achieving the greatest and most sustainable value creation of all times across the global travel industry.
Carlisle Young - Senior Partner, US & Global, Business Development
Carlisle has over 30 years of entrepreneurial experience in real estate, entertainment and pre-IPO investing. He is also a managing partner of Carbon Impact Holdings and a co-founder of Sunterra renewable energy fund. Carlisle has extensive international experience across different industries with principal roles at private equity and venture capital firms.
Brian Deutsch - Senior Partner, UK & Global, Real Estate & Business Development
Brian has over 45 years of mixed-use real estate investment experience in the UK, Europe, Caribbean as both a principal and adviser on the buy and the sell sides. He has an extensive entrepreneurial track record having founded and exited from several innovative technology companies in the media and telecom industries.

Antonio Catarinella - Senior Partner, Business Development
Antonio has extensive experience in both real estate and renewable energy investments. He has also gained substantial expertise in corporate finance advisory and outsourcing for mid-size companies. Antonio holds a law degree and has an entrepreneurial background, investing in food waste-to-energy conversion technologies and real estate developments.
Giorgio Quarta - Senior Partner, General Counsel
Giorgio has over 40 years of experience managing and advising in large real estate developments. In 1996, he founded Quarta & Associates, a law firm that provides legal counsel to small and medium-size businesses across industries such as real estate, renewable energies and software houses. Giorgio has also started-up a number of companies in both real estate and the food and beverage industry. He holds a law degree from the University of Florence.

Biagio Montaiuti - Development Partner, US, Caribbean, Canada, Central America
Biagio has decades of experience in Real Estate investments. As CEO of Global Alliance Commercial, he has acted as buy and sell-side advisory practice to large institutional and private investors in hotel and commercial real estate investments in Europe, Asia, USA, Central America, and the Caribbean. He is also the managing partner of Beach Home Investments, a fast-growing residential marketing and sales master agency representing leading Caribbean developers across the North American market, where it has originated and closed ‘000s of transactions.
